About Me

I have been using sage software since I was 17 years old. I worked for a recycling centre and the lady who was retiring taught me everything she knew, and she loved doing it. I carried that with me for a few years, brought in new members of staff and trained them to do various parts of the software. I enjoyed the reward this gave me – being able to pass on the knowledge.

I moved jobs and tried different industries who all used sage software.

I didn’t want a permanent job for life as I was trying to see where businesses weak spots were when it came to using the software. I was fascinated that many businesses used around 40% of the software’s capabilities, and that they use it so badly. I spent a few more years, and then I went to college and undertook as many courses as I could in bookkeeping, VAT, AAt, diplomas.

I decided that I didn’t want to become an accountant and I thrived on helping people. So I setup my own company in 2007 and do exactly what I started to do then, which is to pass on my knowledge, in easy terms so people could understand, and keep at it until they could do it for themselves. I am also part of the Sage Accountants Club.

I have taught hundreds of clients over the years and still retain them. Even my very first client is still in touch when they get stuck.
